Neutral trousers

These trousers fulfil my neutral need. I have been craving a pair of pale cream-sand-beige trousers since discovering the gorgeous Nehera trousers I have previously mentioned. When I spotted these on Zara's website I could have jumped for joy! They are the perfect colour, having the most perfect nude yet creamy colour mix. The material seems much more expensive than what it actually is, imitating a thick crepe. I am wearing them with my vintage mock neck, Valentino pumps and Céline box, but I can imagine them being worn with almost anything. I cannot wait for the summer when I can wear them with sandals and silver jewellery. 

It feels as though I haven't bought any pieces from Zara for a great time now, so I do hope they keep bringing great pieces like this! 

Lemaire Spring Summer 2016

Looking at the collection I felt as though I was looking through a sepia filter, filled with the array of autumn tones.

Shoulder revealing shirts and blouses were tucked into high waist bands, which flowed into draping long legs.

The tailored trousers were wide with fabric, enabling a swoop around the leg when walking. The range of cropped and full length trousers enabled alternatives for spring to summer.

Fringed scarves were tightly tied around the neck, perfect for the protection of the slight chill in the spring breeze.

However, coats and jackets also came as importance to the collection. They were expertly designed and made to have a relaxed fit, even when nipped in at the waist.

The hair perfectly suited the relaxed nature of the looks. The fluffy un-done looks, were undoubtedly an ironic result of effort and preening.  

To top it off the looks were accompanied by sleek accessories by Sophie Buhai. The cuffs, shoulder reaching earrings and giant hair clips were made of silver with black stones.

Can I have it all?

Hello 2016 - comfort

Cashmere Jumper - Margaret Howell, Cos, Bag - Céline, Shoes - Chanel

I have decided long trousers are the best. They are the best thing I have invested into my wardrobe for a long time. It is all down to their comforting properties, the length keep my legs superbly warm and the load of fabric enable pyjama like comfort. I love the feeling of the swooping fabric when the wind blows.
