As spring is on the trajectory a new obsession has come my way. I cannot stop thinking about and looking at collarless blazers. Ones that have the right amount of tailoring to make them look and feel powerful but are also relaxed and effortless.

They were at Khaite and Calvin Klein for this autumn/winter in black leather, grey and textured  fabrics showing their classical style can work well in any setting.

I’ve done a bit of a round up of my favourite images and pieces that have inspired my mind. I think it’s time to invest.

Black is my go to choice for basically everything so I’ve ordered this one by Max Mara (in the sale!). Unlike the majority of blazers, this one is done up with a zipper rather than buttons which gives it a bit more bite.

I’d wear mine with everything from my traditional black mini skirt with semi sheer tights to straight leg trousers. 

I often hate the transition of seasons as I become so accustomed and easily attached, especially the coziness that winter brings. But with this piece I’m now looking forward to a little rise in temperatures.
