Something about white

Blouse - Rouje

I recently wrote about how I have been drawn to white recently, this blouse is the second of four white purchases I have made this month (which I will be posting about shortly). In the past I have been so obsessed with black or navy as my go-to hues, I think I forgot about the simplicity of white. 

It has been a while since I have made a major clothing investment, and I have found myself needing some item updates. This blouse is one of those, and I do hope it serves me well for years to come. I imagine it will, as soon as I saw it I couldn’t stop thinking about it, which is always a good sign. 

Sun-day

The sun has made a comeback in London, meaning it is perfect time to enjoy my days sat outdoors soaking up the sunshine, but as late spring and early summer months indicate looming deadlines, I am blending the two activities together. At the moment of writing I am sat on the grass at Primrose Hill, taking a break from essay writing. The picture above was taken on Sunday, where some requisite reading and coca cola drinking took place. I decided to dig out my beloved coffee bean dress by A.P.C. (purchased 2014) which will never become old in my mind.

You may have noticed this wall is becoming a regular feature within my posts. Since moving to London I have found it virtually impossible to find a suitable backdrop for my outfit pictures, but finally I have found the perfect simple wall. 

I am currently enjoying my jean and wedge combination, I can never see it getting old. I am almost dreading when the weather becomes too warm that the denim has to be put away (but to be honest that day may never come, we shall see...).

 Strangely, I realised that this blouse is the first white blouse I am to own, I am not sure why but I have felt myself becoming drawn to white. I may have to purchase a few more white pieces (I have had my eye on this white dress by Jeanne Damas' clothing brand Rouje, but unfortunately I was too late and it is no longer available in my size). I have also just purchased another white blouse which I shall be posting about soon.
