Rouje obsession

It has been well documented that I do not take purchase making lightly. When I find something I love, I ask myself how much I need it and how it will fully function within my wardrobe, for now and the future. These are the questions I asked myself when purchasing the blouse I am wearing. You may have noticed it bares a somewhat uncanny resemblance to this blouse. Well, that is because it is the same, only in a different colour. 

Initially, I wondered if it was a silly idea to invest in another blouse costing over £100. But then I came to the conclusion of: if I feel fully comfortable in it, then why not? Already I can see both blouses becoming essential pieces that I could not imagine not being within my wardrobe. 

I am also wearing a skirt by Rouje; a light weight a-line mini skirt with a pattern that is not overbearing. Skirts are a favourite piece of mine for all seasons, but I seem to struggle to find them, leaving me being stuck to the traditional denim mini. So I am incredibly happy to have finally found one that I am contented with.

The sun decided to shine wonderfully upon me just in time for the top photo. It seems the sun has been enjoying its time here in London, having reached over 25 degrees over the past few days. I am wearing my current favourite blouse by Rouje with my fellow favourites of my denim mini and new espadrilles. Apparently, this outfit is perfectly suited for the hot weather, with white supposedly being able to keep you cool by repelling the sun's rays.

Bag - Über den Wolken

It is rare that I ever buy bags, usually they are a major investment piece (or free from A.P.C. purchases/handed out at university). This summer I found myself wanting a nice bag I can store pretty much everything in, take to a park or just about anywhere, and not worry about damaging it. My new lace bag by Über den Wolken fits all these requirements, being perfect in size, beautiful, and hand washable (!). As you can see in the above images, it is serving its intended purpose, in a park on a summers day.
