beautiful packaging

Perfumes - Chanel Coco Mademoiselle, Chloe, Nail Varnishes - Mac underfire red, Chanel Rouge Noir, Lipsticks - Chanel and YSL, Bronzer - Dior.
I often wonder to myself if when I buy designer beauty products am I wasting my money when I could easily get the same effect from high street products for sometimes more than half the price. However I find myself unable to resist purchasing them mainly for their packaging. I love the feeling of opening my beauty bag and seeing the beautiful shiny casing, especially Chanel lipsticks, the gold double C's are so beautiful and luxurious.

    I feel exactly the same. I often buy products only because of their packaging. I love little bows and shiny cases and good paperwork... aaaah! xo

    Yes, I do love luxury packaging, When my YSL lippy has finished I wont be throwing it away as the packaging is just so beautiful. It will just have stand on my bedside table and look pretty!

    I do this too, plus Chanel lipsticks last on the lips waaaaaay longer than any L'Oreal or Rimmel ones! xx

    Honestly, I'm not always prepared for giving away so much money just so I could stare at the pretty bottles. But, yes, the packaging is absolutely gorgeous! x
