Ana Kras Bon Bon Lamps

I don’t know if the term Bon Bon was specifically chosen in correspondence to the pastel sweetness of these creations. Nevertheless I couldn’t think of anything more suitable. The colours featured in each lamp draw me in, and back, nostalgically to my childhood. Pastels of sweets and toys provide a sense of sugariness. My favourite of the selection is the mint and brown combination, with the lilac and cream being a close second.

Mint green being my favourite colour since I was a child, being the colour of the oversized lego I played with, this hue is a apparent feature within the lamp that makes my brain salivate. I will never understand the purpose for my minty desire, but I am precise about the exact hue; not too green, not too blue and not too pale or dark. In the images the lamp when switched off is not 100 percent correct, but on images of it switched on it is nearly magical perfection. Combined with the biscuity pale brown it is ideal, providing a equilibrium of calm with a pop of bright.
