Blouse -  Pins and Needles at Urban Outfitters, Suede skirt - A.P.C., Espadrilles - Castañer, Bag - Chanel

I'm not often one for forgetfulness, but somehow the existence of this red suede skirt absconded my mind. It was only due to a quick reorganisation of my wardrobe that I came across it. I almost feel sad and disappointed that I forgot about it having been hid away for nearly two years. However, the positive of it being concealed means it has been preserved and is practically brand new, meaning I have gained a new piece within my wardrobe, without having actually invested in anything (it must be noted that this skirt cost upwards of £300 which makes me feel all the more pleased with myself).

I am wearing my (new) suede skirt with a (truly) new blouse by Pins and Needles at Urban Outfitters.
Having not purchased anything from Urban Outfitters since my early teenage years, a random browse of their website met me with this welcome surprise. It is everything I have been looking for in a blouse; comfortable, casual and not too expensive.

Also, I am wearing one of three pairs of Castañer espadrilles I have purchased this summer. After purchasing the first pair in white, I found them to be so versatile I couldn't resist getting them in black and beige too. Consequently, I have found myself being more inclined to wear the beige pair over the white, as it is well known that London streets can wreck havoc with the sustainability of white fabrics.
