Hair

Hair is one of those things I am obsessed with, without putting anything into practice. My only hair styles being down and straight, or tied back when exercising.
Hair to me is fascinating, the way it has so many varying hues. Myself and my twin sister have the same hair colour, but when we dye it the exact same colour, they result differently; hers looking paler and more cool and thick, mine becoming more sunny yellow and flowy.
Each strand is so strangely beautiful, the tiny fragments building upon each other creating a string that sparkles when light shines upon it. I have always loved the look of hair in sunlight, it forms a glow and glitter that is removed when the direct light is taken away,  replaced with a smooth shine.
Hair has multi dimension, the height of the wave capturing the light while the length graduates to a darker tone.Once a movement is made the two tones combine together to create one overall colour.
Simply tucking hair into a rolled neck jumper can create a flowing stream of hair pooling around the neck, forming a distinction of the face.
Straight hair projecting from a ponytail, the sunlight capturing the upper curve and shadowing down to the end wisp. The thousands of combined strands creating contours of sparkling hues in one sharp end. A flow in the wind, some hair strands are combined together crossing over one another creating their own intricate pattern that is unable to be rediscovered have vanished within less that a second.
Once put into words, it is strange to visualise the huge amount of particles that hair is created from, that we use as a simple styling tool.
