Maryam Nassir Zadeh sandals

Recently I was asked how I would style the Maryam Nassir Zadeh mint suede sandals, and now I'm ashamed to say I didn't like them. The ultra minimal aspect of my brain couldn't allow more than one toe strap to be within a shoe, and the actual concept of wearing a colour, but after a couple of weeks of repeatedly looking at them (for some reason I find them oddly satisfying, perhaps the pastel tones in combination with my penchant for suede is tickling a corner of my brain) I feel I have come around to the idea of them on my feet. I can imagine they will be tricky to uphold their clean appearance being so pale. This difficulty was soon eradicated when i spotted the slightly 'calmer' pair in the cream tone which are of a smooth leather - much easier to care for and the colour easier for my minimal colourless brain style to handle.

Additionally, I have fell deeply and wholy in love with is the sophie sandal in copper. They remind me of my new pair of A.P.C chestnut brown, but create a entirely differset situation with the detail of suede and one simplistic strap. Equally as beautiful as my pair of A.P.C's but the lower heel and suede creating a different story.
But with the lucky streak I withhold, they are OUT OF STOCK.

Another pair I am interested in and are actually in stock are the slip on sandals, in black - obviously (the white did capture my eye but i cannot imagine myself wearing them) I think they would look great with anything as they are such a simple idea. I remember myself reposting an image of them on my tumblr, they are so interestingly simple but give a great effect. The only concern I have is how they would stay upon my feet?

Whilst discussing the topic of MNZ I have to comment about their photography which is instantly capturing. Maybe this is the reason i am am so drawn in to their items, but feeling withheld from actually making a complete decision upon the actual item. Each time I view an image, their styling, colour, hue and location of the photography makes me feel I'm entering a summer haze of beautiful simplicity and serenity.
Their photography epitomises my style mantra of feeling escapism but being real and wearable.
